Dubbo Regional Airport (DRA) is one of the leading regional airports in Australia and is located 5km northwest of Dubbo on the Mitchell Highway.
The Airport provides direct return services from Dubbo to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Broken Hill, Walgett and Lightning Ridge and is serviced by Regional Express (Rex), QantasLink, Link Airways and Air Link.
Whilst we've been a university for more than 20 years, our history of professional education and research spans more than 100 years. This started with the establishment of the Bathurst Experimental Farm in 1895.

Class leading racing and training facilities and a renewed vision and plan for upgrading our spacious and picturesque hospitality areas, the Dubbo Turf Club continues to innovate country racing and serves as the preeminent racing hub in Western NSW.
The Dubbo Turf Club hosts 17 race meetings per year, including the prestigious Dubbo Gold Cup, Queen of the West, Silver Goblet, Derby Day/Golden Eagle Day, and Melbourne Cup/Big Dance Day meetings.
We lead conservation efforts in the field and participate in regional and global conservation breeding programs to establish insurance populations for species threatened in the wild. We also operate two wildlife hospitals that treat and rehabilitate injured native wildlife, as well as providing best practice health care for the animals at our Zoos.
If you want to get lost in the beauty of nature, stop in at the Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum, which houses one of the largest collections of Australian plants in cultivation. Over 50,000 flowering plants, shrubs and trees from more than 2,000 species are growing on 164 hectares with stunning views overlooking Lake Burrendong.
